3. Complete and mail the form to the return address or fax to number
shown below.
As a successful organization, United Linen has the responsibility to support
non-profit organizations that enhance the quality of life in its service areas.
Due to the demand for funds being well in excess of our giving capacity, our
contributions will be limited to those organizations located in our communities
who have as their mission statement and focus servicing the same service areas
as United Linen serves. To assist in determining the organizations that will be
considered for support, the following is a list of categories from which
requests will be reviewed:
Education
Community Development
Economic Development
Environment
Health
Human Services
Cultural Activities
All requests for funds must be supported by a formal written request that
includes a brief mission statement of the organization, its leadership and the
purpose of the funds. Requests should be forwarded to the Marketing Director.
It is the Marketing Director’s responsibility to respond to the request within
20 days by personal letter approving, denying or requesting additional
information.
Requests given preferential consideration are organizations which:
(1)Are tax exempt, IRS section 501(c)(3)
(2)Create a positive exposure for United Linen
(3)Involve our associates
(4)Improve the quality of life in our community
United Linen will not provide funding for the following types of requests:
-Organizations without a non-profit status
-Political organizations, candidates, or campaigns
-Lobbying groups
-Where the donation is for the purpose of an individual
-Solicitations received by form letter that discriminate on the basis of age,
race, sex or national origin |
