United Linen is participating in this year's United Way campaign through a series of contests. Our goal is $600.
Our first contest is "Guess how many Jelly Beans are in that jar!" & will run October 5th through October 16th. The gist of it? Purchase a guess (or as many as you want) & the closest to the correct number of Jelly Beans wins a
Flip video camera.
Employees & friends across the globe are eligible to participate.
An employee wishing to participate should check out the jar in the front office or see Kristin & Elwanda in HR.
For those of you wishing to participate virtually, please click on our ChipIn Widget on the (right) side of the screen. This will take you to a secure Paypal site where can you make donations for $1.50 per guess. When making your donation, be sure to click the "Go to ChipIn/Leave a Comment" link & type your guess in the comment field. You do not have to have a Paypal account in order to participate. Once on the Paypal site, there is a link to pay via debit/credit card.
Just a few housekeeping details...
- On Monday, October 19th, the beans will be counted and a winner determined.
- The person with the guess closest to the number of jelly beans, without going over, is the winner.
- In the event that all guesses are over, the person with the lowest guess is the winner.
- In the event of a tie, the person turning in the correct guess first, wins.
- The winner will be notified by October 21st & the prize will be awarded/mailed by October 23rd.
